About Us

Saint Raphael Catholic Preschool, originally called St. Raphael Early Childhood Center, opened its doors in 1979 under the direction of Sister Francis Clare Ugast with 33 students and 4 teaching staff. Over the past 40+ years, we have expanded considerably and currently serve 160 students guided by 25 teachers and staff. Some of our teachers remained with us for over 30 years, and we are now enrolling a second generation of families. Our mission to nurture young minds, hearts and spirits has never wavered. From humble beginnings, the preschool has grown, spurred on by the involvement of committed parents and parishioners, strengthened by a devoted professional staff, and blessed by Our Lord through the intercession of Our Lady and St. Raphael, our patron.
